In this international event, Dr. Ehsan Toofaninejad, faculty member of the Department of E-Learning at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, representing the university, delivered a speech at the specialized session on the role of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in preserving and transmitting traditional knowledge, under the title:

"From Preservation to Living Knowledge: How Artificial Intelligence Can Transform Traditional Knowledge for Future Generations"

In his presentation, Dr. Toofaninejad critically examined the purely digital preservation approach, emphasized the necessity of transitioning from "preservation" to "living knowledge," and introduced the conceptual framework of the AI-Enabled Living Knowledge Framework, which highlights the role of artificial intelligence as an educational infrastructure and emphasizes the governance of local communities over their own knowledge.

Among the achievements of this partnership are the introduction of the scientific position of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences at the level of BRICS member countries, the identification of international cooperation opportunities, and the presentation of a new approach in the field of traditional knowledge and artificial intelligence. It is worth mentioning that this participation was coordinated through the Grant Office of the Office of International Affairs of the university.
